The Blender comes back with a Talented Kuwaiti Director, Hamad Jasem. Hamad graduated from AUK (The American University of Kuwait) and is now working in the Ministry of Information.

1) Name, Age, Passions, interests and brief of career and personal life?

My name is Hamad Jasem. I am 28 years old. I am a  dependent film maker.  

2) What makes you so interested in film direction?

I like to tell stories using arts such as acting, camera shooting, lighting ...etc. so the best way to combine all these arts though film directing and supporting the way that the story should be performed. 

3) What is the message that you want to deliver in the field of film and direction?

Actually it depends on the film i'm working on. But in general i want to deliver messages that can affect people's lives in a positive way. 

4) Any prizes, awards, events you attended or participated in?

I got only one prize it wasn't given to me by a festival or an organisation. But it was given to me by God, when he sent me an unknown person who called me and said i saw your documentary (the life story of Jasem). it made me kiss my father's hand and head after two years of not seeing him. I believe that is the greatest prize i got or will ever get. i don't think there is any greater prize than this one. i will never forget these words as long as I'm alive.  

5) Throughout all your projects, films and work, what project/film you think represents you best?

The first film i have ever did in my entire life is called ''The life story of Jasem'' it talks about my father, a simple man who lived a simple life. 

 6) What makes you special among other film directors

U should ask the audience not me.

7) What are your goals, what do you want to reach?

My goal is to make as many artistic films as possible and make a lot of people watch them.

8) Any upcoming projects/ films?

Yes, there is a documentary i am putting my final touches in it. it's called ''women's right now'' it talks about how women in Kuwait struggled for there political rights and what problems they faced.

9) Will you be participating soon in film festivals/events?

Yes i will.

10) Who influences you most in the field of film direction?

James Cameron.

11) Do you think that film direction is becoming more successful in the middle-east?

Yes it is very much.

12) Is there a competition? are you personally competing with other film directors?

No, i am not competing with anyone. In my point of view, Art is not a field that you compete in it is all about expressing your feelings. i would never think of it as a competition even if i participated in a film festival. My main purpose is to show my work to my fans and audience. I also love to learn from other film makers their way of thinking and expressing their feelings, cultures, art, religion, philosophy and thoughts.

قعدت افكر اليوم شسويلكم...و بصراحة الجو مو مال طلعة كلش. اليوم هالاكله راح تكون منقسمة الى نصفين.. حق الي مسوين رجيم بس يموتون على البيرغر و صدقوني هذا اقل بيرغر فيه سعرات حرارية و النص الثاني حق الناس الي يموتون على البلعة و يحبون الدهن والزيت

اقدم لكم مشروم اند كرافت بيرغر

المقادير

كفتة مفرومة مبهرة و جاهزة للشوي {رجيم} او همبورغر خزان {عادي} ..اختاروا واحد --

مشروم --

بصل وثوم --

جبن كرافت قليل الدسم {رجيم} او جبن كرافت العادي {عادي} ..اختاروا واحد --

بطاط --

ليمون --

ملح --

-- فلفل أسـود

-- زنجبيل مقطع

الخطوات

١) اول شي تقصون البطاط شويه ضعاف و تنقعونه بماي و ملح و شويه خل

٢) كلنا ندري و حق الي ما يدري ان البطاط اكثر شي يطول ...فا اول شي نفوح البطاط لعند ما تكون نص مستويه بحدود الربع ساعة تقريبا

٣) اول شي عقب ما تيبون الكفتة زاهبة ...قسموها الى شكل دوائر صغيرة  و بعدين سووها على شكل همبوغر

٤) بعدين تيبون المشروم تغسلونة زين بالماي و تقصونه مثل الصورة

٥) بعدين تيبون المقلة و تحطون معلقة زيت زيتون لين يسخن و بعدها تضيفون البصل و تحركونه شويه حتى يلين و تضيفون عليه الثوم و تخلطونه عدل

٦) بعدين على طول تضيفون الزنجبيل المقطع صغار و تخلطونه عدل و اضافه نقاط قليله من الليمون و بعدها بشوي تضيفون المشروم لين يبتدي يلمع

٧) بعدين تضيفون شويه ملح و فلفل أسود

٨) تضيفون زبده بس حق الي مو مسوين رجيم

٩) بس ترى الزبدة مو حق الي مسوين رجيم فا الي مسوي رجيم لا يضيف الزبدة ديربالكم لا تغشون...المهم ابدو خلطوا الاكل لمدة دقيقتين ثلاث

١٠) بعدها لمحبين الباربكيو صوص تقدرون تزيدون قفشه على المشروم و تخلطونها عدل و طبعا اذا بتزيدونه ما تحطون زبده

 ١١) بعدين تحطونهم بصحن على جنب و تبدون تشوون الكفتة

١٢) تحطون الكفتة بالمقلة و تزيدون شوية زيت زيتون و تقلبونها لمدة خمس دقايق او تيبون همبورغر الخزان و تقلونه بالزيت العادي لمدة خمس دقائق او اقل

١٣) و بعدها تيبون جبن الكرافت قليل الدسم و تحطونه فوق الكفتة او فوق همبورغز خزان و اهي على النار عشان يذوب الجبن عليها و يطلع شكلها لذيذ

١٤) و بعدين تحطون الهمبورغر بصحن و تحطون خلطة المشروم والبصل فوقه

١٥)  تيبون البطاط الفيوح و تحطونه بالفرن بحروة الربع ساعة عشان يتحمر وترشون شوية ملح عليه و تصبون عليه شوية زيت زيتون عشان ما ينشف او يحترق و اهو بالفرن

١٦) او حق الي مو مسوين رجيم : تقدرون تقلون البطاط بدال لا تحطونه بالفرن و بعد ما تفيحونه علشان يطلع كرسبي و لذيذ

١٧) وبعدين تطلعونه من الفرن او من المقلة عقب ما يتحمر البطاط

و جذي تكون الاكلة جاهزة  بالعافية عليكم

Hello everyone,

I started wondering what to cook for you today, and we all know that the weather isn't healthy for us all to hang out, so i decided to make you Mushroom & Craft Burger!

This Recipe will be divided into two groups, the first group are those who are on a diet but really love burgers and believe me this has less calories than any other burger!. The second group will include those people who never reallycare about dieting and love extra fat and oil in their food!

INGREDIENTS

• Ready & Spiced Beef Kofta (Diet) / Khazan Burger (Regular)
• Mushroom
• Onion & Garlic
• Light Cheese SLices Craft (Diet) / Cheese Slices Craft (Regular)
• Potato
• Lemon
• Salt
• Olive Oil (Diet) / Cooking Oil (Regular)
• Butter (Regular)
• Ginger

STEPS

1. First of you you start cutting the potato ( Like the fries shape), wash it with water and then leave it in water, salt and little bit of vinegar for couple of minutes (nearly 15 minutes)
2. Then you get the Beef Kofta and start making small balls out of it, and then start squeezing every piece until they look like burgers
3. If you're using the Khazan Burger then skip the Beef Kofta Step
4. After that, you should wash the mushroom carefully with water and cut it exactly like shown in the picture! 
5. It's time to play with fire, so bring the pan, and add a bit of olive oil to it..Then mix the mushroom with with the onions and start putting it in the pan and keep mixing the mushrooms and onions.
6. Cut a little bit of Ginger into small pieces and add it to the pan
7. Then you should start crashing a bit of garlic and adding it to the food!

1. After that add a bit of salt, little drops of lemon and some butter ( NOTE: Butter isn't for the people who are on a diet so stay away from butter) ..then start mixing the food for about 5 minute.
2. Then you put the food in a plate and start grilling the beef kofta or frying the Khazan Burger ( whatever you prefer)
3. After that bring the Cheese Slice craft and put it on the burger while you are grilling or frying it until it melts on the burger
4. Then put the burger in a plate and add the mushroom and onions on top of the burger.
5. Bring the boiled Potato and put it in the oven; add a bit of water and salt to it so that it doesn't become dry or burn in the oven. Wait for 15 minutes and get it out from the oven and put it in a plate
6. For the regular people, you can fry the potatoes instead.

and now you have your Mushroom & Craft Burger Dish ready! Enjoy!!

سلطة بلندر ناتشوز

و احلى شي بهالاكله انكم ما تحتاجون تكونون فلته بالاكل او محترفين، الاكله هذي حق الي يحبون الناتشوز و قاعدين بالشاليه و ودهم يتفنتكون او حق الي رايحين يمعة او حفلة

الي يميز هالسلطة انها سريعة و لذيذة بس إخلط و إمش يعني مو فيزياء

المقادير

خل ابيض --

نص ليمونة او اكثر --

متبل رانش --

صلصة الثاوزند ايلاند --

الصلصة الفرنسية --

فاصوليا حمراء داكنة بالفلفل او بدون --

ذرة معلبة --

دوريتوس ناتشوز شيز ( تلاقونه بالجمعيات و مركز السلطان) النوع الي تبونه بس انا افضل نكهة الجبن --  

خس --

ملفوف --

الخطوات

بعد سهلة ما يبيلها شي

١) اول شي تيبون صحن دائري حق السلطة وتخلونه على صوب

٢) تالي تغسلون الذرة و الفاصوليا زين بالماي و بعدين تحطون كثر ما تبون منهم بالصحن الدائري

٣) بعدين تغسلون الخس و الملفوف و تقصونهم بالطول و تضيفون الكمية الي تبونها بالصحن

٤) بعدين تحطون من كل صلصة الكمية الي تبونها و تخلطونهم مع الذرة و الفاصوليا

٥) بعدين تحطون شوية خل و ليمون عشان يعطي السلطة طعم مميز و لذيذ وبعدها تخلطون السلطة

٦) بعدين تكسرون الناتشوز  الى قطع صغيرة و تضيفونهم فوق الخلطة

و جذي صار معاكم سلطة بلندر ناتشوز

بالعافية و زهبوا نوتاتكم حق اسبوع الياي

Hi all, For those who love Nachos, today, we bring you a new recipe called

BLender Nachos Salad

This recipe is very easy to prepare! you don't really need to be a professional chef in order to do it!

Its basically mixing everything together. Easy no?

This Recipe is for those who are sitting in their chalets and are dying to fill in their free time! or hungry but do not know how to cook! or even for those who are going to party and a gathering!

INGREDIENTS

• White vinegar
• 1/2 Slice of Lemon (or More)
• Ranch Dressing
• Thousand Island Dressing
• French Dressing
• Red Kidney Beans
• Sweet Corn
• Doritos Nacho Cheese
• Lattice
• Cabbage

Steps

1. First of all, get a big Salad Bowl and leave it on the table
2. Then wash the corn and the kidney beans properly with water and add both to the Salad Bowl
3. Cut the lattice and cabbage into small+tall pieces and add them to the bowl(Add as much as you want)
4. Add the three dressings on top of the corn and kidney beans (Add As much as you want) and start mixing it
5. For an amazing taste, add a little bit of white vinegar and lemon to the mixed salad and start mixing it all together!
6. Then start smashing the nachos into small pieces and add it on top of the mixed salad!

and now you have your BLender Nachos Salad

شلونكم يا بعد هالربيان كله؟ اليوم اكلتنا ايطاليه خفيفه و لذيذه و اسمها

Creamy Garlic Shrimp

الاكله هذي تتميز بسهولة طبخها و لذتها

مدة الطبخه بحدود عشر دقايق على نار هادئه

المقادير

"مقادير يا درب الهوى مقادير و ش ذنبي انا..."

١) ربيان مطبوخ منظف و متبل في زيت زيتون ملح فلفل اسود و ليمون و يستحب انه يتنقع فتره لا تقل عن الساعه و مو اكثر من 24 ساعه
٢) خمس فصوص ثوم حجم متوسط
٣) نص كوب كريمه على حسب الذوق... نقدر نحط اكثر او اقل
٤) ربع مكعب ماجي نذوبه بنص كوب ماء ساخن  او كثر على حسب اذا حابه المرق يكون خفق او ثقيل او وايد او شويه كله يعتمد عالذوق و الرغبه
٥) نص بصل أبيض مقطع صغار او مفروم على حسب الذوق
٦) ليمونه معصورة
٧) ملح فلفل اسود
٨) زبده الثوم او بودره الثوم ان وجد مو شرط بس تعطي نكهه ثابته تقدرون تحصلونها بمركز السلطان او كارفور
٩) و طبعا ملعقه زيت زيتون

الخطوات

-- اول خطوه نحط الزيت الزيتون بالمقله لين يتحرر شوي و نخلط معاه ملعقه صغيره زبده الثوم

-- بعدها نحط البصل و على نار هاديه بحركه و نزيد عليه البهارات الاساسيه الملح و الفلفل الاسود و اذا وجد بودرة الثوم

-- نضيف الربيان و بحركه على نار هاديه مع البصل و البهارات..وبعدها نظيف شويه من عصير الليمون بملعقه و نصف تقريبا ...نحركه بعد شويه

-- من بعدها نظيف الماجي المنقوع بالماي و نحرك و نظيف الثوم و من بعده الكريمه و نخلطه عدل و نسكره ...

ينحط على صحن التقديم و تقدرير تزينينه بالطريه الي تحبينها

الزينه الي انا سويتها لفيت قشر الليمونه الي عصرتها و حطيت عليها فجل مقصص شرايح صغار و وزعته على قشر الليمونه و تكونت عندنا وردة للزينه

هني و عافية...اشوفكم الاسبوع الياي انشالله

Hey guys, Today, our cooking recipe is one of the most delicious Sea-food dishes and is called Creamy Garlic Shrimp. This Recipe is known for it's simplicity, fast preparation and serving!

DURATION: 10 MINUTES

INGREDIENTS

• Boiled Shrimps cleaned and mixed with olive oil, black pepper and lemon. It is recommended to leave it for about an hour or more.
• 5 small pieces of garlic
• 1/2 cup of any kind of cream
• 1/4 of Maggi's Cubic box melted in hot water!
• 1/2 of White onion chopped or minced
• Freshly Squeezed Lemon
• Black Pepper and Salt
• Garlic Flavored Butter or Garlic Powder - Can be found in Sultan Center or CarreFour
• One spoon of Olive Oil

COOKING STEPS

1. The first step is to pour one spoon of olive oil in the Pan until it heats up and then you can add and mix the Garlic flavored butter with it and start stirring ( you can skip the garlic flavored butter if you dont want it)
2. You can then add the onion, black pepper and salt with it ..and finally add the Garlic powder and start stirring again.
3. You can then add the Shrimps and one and a half spoon of squeezed lemon and continue to stir.
4. Add the Maggi sauce and the 5 pieces of garlic and start stirring again.
5. Don't forget to add the 1/2 cup of cream and cover the cooking food with the lid and leave it to cook for few minutes.
